呈特有清凉尖刺桉叶香气并带几分樟脑气味,带些药气,有辣口清凉感,香气强烈而不持久。有一定防霉及杀菌防腐作用。几乎不溶于水,溶于乙醇、无水乙醇、油和脂肪中。闪点为50℃。 主要组成:1,8-桉叶素(80%以上)、水芹烯、乙酸香叶醇等。
